1. Submit an inquiry
Start with the boat’s essentials: location, ownership, title status, condition and photographs. This gives us enough information to determine whether it may be suitable for review.
2. Name the cause you want supported
Tell us which qualified organization you want to support. We record the selection during review rather than treating “charity” as a vague marketing label.
3. Receive a documented sale plan
If accepted, the boat may be prepared for sale through Harbor-Bid. The donor sees the planned channel and the fee structure before the listing is live—not after the money has moved.
4. Follow the completed outcome
Once a sale is complete, the donor can receive a sale-and-distribution record explaining gross proceeds, disclosed charges, applicable expenses and the amount directed to the selected organization.
Our standard: we do not promise acceptance, pickup, a sale price, charitable treatment or a tax deduction before review.
